WORLD TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP MAKES DONINGTON DEBUT - 16 & 17 JULY

Donington Park will welcome the World Touring Car Championship to its legendary Leicestershire tarmac later this month (16th & 17th July), as round seven of the fiercely contested series comes to the circuit for the first time, since the former European Touring Car Championship visited over five years ago.

2011 TOM WHEATCROFT TROPHY AWARDED TO ASTON MARTIN CHAIRMAN DAVID RICHARDS

The Tom Wheatcroft Trophy for 2011has been awarded to David Richards CBE, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Prodrive Group and Chairman of Aston Martin. Mr Richards is the tenth recipient of this prestigious award.

DONINGTON PARK ANNOUNCES REVISED EVENTS CALENDAR

Donington Park has announced a change to its 2011 Calendar of Major Events due to noise restrictions in place at the Leicestershire venue. The decision to reduce the number of race days – which comes following careful consideration from the Board of Donington Park Racing Ltd – means that the calendar will now focus on prestigious racing events such as World Touring Cars and the British Superbike Championship.

SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL MAKES UK DEBUT AT DONINGTON PARK

The fiercely contested Superstars International Series will make its UK debut at Donington Park this weekend (18 -19 June), with Britain's very own Johnny Herbert starring, as he battles against a strong-field of competitors in his Mercedes Benz C63AMG.

VSCC SeeRed VISITS DONINGTON PARK THIS WEEKEND

Donington Park will welcome back old friends this weekend (May 21 & 22), as the Leicestershire venue hosts 'SeeRed' - the Vintage Sports-Car Club's historic racing festival, that offers a packed programme of races with cars dating from pre-war right up until the early 1960s.
